Can Georgia make the Playoffs?

Georgia has had a good season so far with crucial wins against Notre Dame and Florida. Their only blemish on the season was a loss against unranked South Carolina in the rain. The season is far from over with three remaining games on the schedule. If Georgia can win out, then they will reach the SEC Championship again and will likely face either LSU or Alabama. If they win the SEC Championship, then they would be a lock for one of the four playoff spots.

Road to the playoffs

There are three remaining games for Georgia in the regular season. If they win all of those, then they will get to the SEC Championship for a chance to win and move onto the playoffs.

• Georgia at Auburn: This is the south's oldest rivalry beginning in 1892. This is always a crucial match up every season since both teams are usually good. This years game will be no different. Auburn comes in ranked 12th while Georgia is ranked 4th. This will be a good test for Georgia to see if they are good enough to make it to the SEC Championship and the playoffs.

• Georgia vs. Texas A&M: While Texas A&M isn't ranked, they are an SEC team. If UGA beats Auburn, they shouldn't overlook Texas A&M. Even though they aren't ranked, they always play their opponents tough. They have a good record with six wins and only three losses, so this wont be an easy game for the Dawgs.

• Georgia at Georgia Tech: Georgia Tech has had a terrible season in 2019 with a 2-7 record so far. This annual meeting has been very one sided lately with Georgia winning eight out of the last ten meetings. This trend should continue this season. UGA shouldn't overlook this game since anything can happen in a rivalry game.

• Possible SEC Championship: If Georgia wins out, they will get to the SEC Championship. This will either be against LSU or Alabama. Both of these teams are very good, and if UGA can win this game, then they deserve to make it into the playoffs.

Playoffs

If Georgia makes it to the playoffs, then they would most likely face either Ohio State, LSU, or Clemson. UGA always has aspirations to make the playoffs and win a national title every year. If they don't make it to the playoffs, then this season will be viewed as a failure. UGA has a good chance to make it to the playoffs since they have a very talented team with plenty of experience. The question is whether they utilize that talent and experience in the right way.
